Little Biologists for a Day

The end of the school is approaching. And you already feel the long, very long free days of your boys approaching. Those long, very long summer days when it's day until late at night and you don't know what to invent to keep the kids busy.


We at Blu Suite have a proposal we have:

The Biology Summer Camp

• From 22 to 30 June
• For children aged 6 to 11 years

Five days of activities led by a marine biologist to learn about the Adriatic Sea. (because yes, even in the Adriatic there is life!). Five days of fun in contact with nature where you can learn the basics of marine biology, having fun in the open air.

A healthy, educational and engaging activity, as in the purest “Blu Suite” spirit

Here's what your kids will do:

• Snorkeling lessons: how to wear masks and fins in the most correct way and how to move "on the water".
• Chemical laboratory on sea water to discover with various tests why sea water is salty. All the laboratory tools of the "little chemist" will be used, but real, not toy!
• Collection and microscopic analysis of marine finds found on the beach
• Laboratory for  fishing
• Night walk on the beach to discover the night animals
• Environmental monitoring with sample collection and microscope analysis


The camp is suitable for all children aged 6 and up, even if they cannot swim: all activities will be done in shallow water and you can always wear armrests for safety.
The presence of parents is not required, indeed it is strongly discouraged;)


And you, what can you do while the children have fun in an educational activity?

We are sure that you don't need suggestions, but just to get an idea:
